DEFINING CULTURE <ul><li>DEFINITION OF CULTURE: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>“ The set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterizes an institution or organization.” </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Interestingly and often overlooked is that culture also means: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>“ The act of developing the intellectual and moral faculties especially by education.” </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Therefore, as culture is relevant to groups within a group, culture itself is driven by the dynamism of education of self and the surrounding environment. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>It is critical that all cultures utilize the medium of education and communication to further their own goals and objectives. </li></ul></ul>
