Flagstick managed the construction of ve
championship golf courses at Mission
Hills Shenzhen. Our experienced team
coordinated the work of multiple architect
teams, dozens of construction consultants
and engineers, and thousands of labor-
ers. Due to our success in Shenzhen, we
were brought in again at Mission Hills
Haikou to manage the work of all ten
golf courses. The stunning A-Course,
routed through rugged lava elds, will
play host to the 2011 Omega Mission
Hills World Cup.

Tom Weiskopf’s rst Signature Design in
China, this striking course weaves
through the native sand dunes of Hainan
Island’s east coast, creating a dramatic
and memorable setting for golf. Flagstick
coordinated the work of the architect,
contractor and labor teams to craft this
masterpiece that was ranked the 3rd Best
New International Course by Golf Maga-
zine in 2010, and was named the Best
Golf Course in China by Robb Report
Best of the Best Awards 2011.

Set against the rugged and vast Montana
landscape, The Wilderness Club is
considered one of Sir Nick Faldo’s nest
designs. It was recognized by Golf
Magazine as America’s 2nd Best New
Private Course in 2009. The Flagstick
team worked with Nick Faldo and
Schmidt-Curley Design to carve the
course out of native pine forests and prai-
rie. The result is a breathtaking master-

A Few Examples of How We Work
Flagstick’s services are built on the tenets of customer service, integrity, accuracy, thorough planning and
seamless coordination. Below is a list of activities we regularly engage in while managing golf course
construction.

In the early stages of a job, our project manager assists with pre-construction planning, scheduling,
budgeting, tender document preparation, design of irrigation, landscape and water features, and the
initial surveying, layout and staking of the course.
Our project manager and senior staff work directly with the golf course architect to prepare technical
speci cations and detailed drawings of the site.
Flagstick's project manager supervises all on-site construction activity and conducts regular construc-
tion meetings, with subsequent preparation and distribution of meeting minutes.

Sister Company
