immersion into the online community doesn’t have to feel like taking a giant leap... ...nor is it isolating

you may experience more than one stage at a time I think I’m.... here ...here ....and here too

identify the tools you need to connect and engage with your PLN ....but be selective

start with your existing connections then branch out to establish new ones

pass on helpful resources provide encouragement offer advice pay it forward when you’re stuck in the reeds, your PLN will guide the way

engage with your PLN through conversation

Tuning and Feeding tune your PLN according to interests feed your PLN a mixture of contributions Rheingold, 2009

gain perspective

Informing a sense of professional identity Learn about... yourself & the mark you may make on the profession

be inspired to plan... professional development activities your career

learning opportunities are endless a PLN is what you make it
