  • 6. BRYOPHYTES
    Characteristics:
    • Are non-vascular plants
    • 7. They reproduce via spores.
    • 8. It divides into two parts, the female one is called Antherida and the male part is called Fichegonia.
    • 9. Their leaves are called Microphils.
    • 10. Is useful in the process of Spagnun that is the production of methane.
  • 11. Uses
    Although bryophytes are among the oldest land plants, their usefulness is relatively unknown to most people. Bryophytes are used in pharmaceutical products, in horticulture, for household purposes, and are also ecologically important. The multifarious uses and applications of the bryophyte flora are being increasingly recognized around the world
  • 12. PTERIDOPHYTES
    Characteristics:
    • Produce via spores
    • 13. Are vascular plants
    • 14. Leaves are called fronds
    • 15. Have rhizoids, that are roots that don’t absorb
    • 16. Are useful in the removal of heavy metals, specially of the arsenic, in the case of ferms it is use as food or also as a biological fertilizer .

    Many ferns are grown in horticulture as landscape plants, for cut foliage and as houseplants
    Some ferns are used for food
     fix nitrogen from the air into compounds that can then be used by other plants
    used as building material in some tropical areas
  • 18. GYMNOSPERMS
    Characteristics:
    • Are seed plants.
    • 19. Are vascular plants.
    • 20. Their reproductive structures are called Cores.
    • 21. Are use in soap,perfumes and paint, also is used in the conifers of the wood.
  • 22. What is the use?
    Gymnosperms have major economic uses. Pine, fir, spruce and cedar are all examples of conifers which we use for lumber. Some other common uses for them are as soap, varnish, paint, food and perfumes.

    Characteristics:
    • Vascular plants.
    • 24. Produce via seeds and fruits
    • 25. Their flowers are their reproductive structures.
    • 26. It is so important in the economy because it from their seed that almost all the fruits and food come and also because the beauty of the flowers.
  • 27. USE
    . Angiosperms are source of food . wheat rice and maize are our stable food . pulses and millet which are our food item belong to angiosperms .
    Delicious and nutritional fruits such as mango,apple ,pear,peacheas,milon,banana dates,etc come from angiosperms.
    . many useful produts,which serve as medicine, are obtained from them .
    . wood of angiosperms are used for making sport goods,frnitures .
    . fiber for making ropesand linen is obtained from many of them such as cotton and jute .
    many angiosperm trees such as banyan,peepal,etc provide shade and shelter to animals
