"Taming the Distributed Enterprise"
Deploying solutions in a distributed enterprise is a daunting task. IBM is no exception with its far flung operations spanning the globe and comprised of multiple product divisions, business units, brands, solutions and products. Mike will overview the scope and scale of that environment and describe how his teams successfully approach and manage the deployment, governance, and support of Acrolinx IQ across such a diverse environment.
"IBM Learning Teams: Experiences with Acrolinx"
Before 2011, the main users of Acrolinx at IBM were the teams that develop technical publications. Since 2011, other IBM domains are deploying Acrolinx to improve the quality and consistency of client-facing information they produce. Learning content has been a particularly active domain in this area. The learning teams at IBM are widely dispersed geographically and organizationally across the corporation, and new acquisition companies frequently come on board into IBM. In this presentation, Julian charts the progress of the IBM learning teams from skepticism to acceptance to strong support for Acrolinx, and describes how these teams have met requirements and overcome challenges along the way.
