  • To strengthen the nations teachers unions’ capacity to promote reforms that will ultimately lead to better learning and higher achievement for all America’s children.
    The primary goal is to promote new union practices to build and sustain effective schools.

    Three subcommittees tackle professional development, preservice education issues, and compensation redesign, including performance pay systems.
