  2. 2. <ul><li>A network of 16 European partners + 5 « associated » partners </li></ul><ul><li>General objective : To develop common understanding of good practices in the field of ICT applied to energy efficiency in cities; </li></ul><ul><li>Outputs : To create an European repository of best practices and a social network. </li></ul><ul><li>Duration: 30 months.   3. 3. <ul><li>A. 3 milestone conferences (initial, mid-term and final): </li></ul><ul><li>An inaugural one day conference . </li></ul><ul><li>An intermediary one day conference presenting the results achieved by each group and giving new input and orientation for the following meetings of the working groups. Results will be summarized and presented to the European Commission and Council Presidency. </li></ul><ul><li>Final conference . One day conference presenting the results of the working groups and defining roadmap for future thematic investigations by the European Club TIC21EE that should be created at the end of the proposed thematic network. </li></ul><ul><li>B . 3 focus working groups (mixing stakeholders) : </li></ul><ul><li>A focus working group (WG) on ICT for energy efficiency in buildings . </li></ul><ul><li>A focus working group on ICT for energy efficiency in transports . </li></ul><ul><li>A focus working group on ICT as catalyst of change in user behaviours . </li></ul>03/06/09 Activities
