    • What is E-Rate?
      E-Rate is a program that offers discounts on telecommunication services to public. schools, private schools, and libraries.
      The program was adopted in 1996.
      Approximately $2.25 billion is available annually for schools and libraries.

      Basic phone services (local and long distance)
      T-1, 56k and ISDN lines

    • Applying for discounts (steps 1-5)
      Develop a technology plan.
      Submit FCC form
      Provide for a 28-day competitive bidding period
      Select a service provider / sign contracts

      7) Receive your Funding Commitment Letter
