  • 1. Sagarmatha National Park<br />The roof of the world, the third pole and the Mount Everest. Raising high to 8848m, it is the Tallest Mountain in the world. Thus, this national park is the highest National park in the world. This national barks a great pride with beauties naming it in the UNESCO World Heritage. This region mostly consists of mountainous terrains and a wonderful view of Mt. ChoOyu, Ama Dablam and Pumori. Numerous terrains, glaciers exist in the region with rugged ice terrains and steep ice faces.<br />The national park covers an area of 1,148sq kms with black bears and Musk deer inhibiting commonly on the grounds. The national park also offers a home to various bird species like the Himalayan griffon, the Vulture and other birds of prey. “Danfe”, also known as impeyan pheasant, the national bird of Nepal is found in this National park.<br />At lower elevations, pine forest dominates. With amplified altitude, rhododendron is widespread with birch and juniper forests higher up. The national park is also home for one of popular trekking region, The Sagarmatha Base Camp Trek. A variance in beauty joins the Sagarmatha national park making it a wonder beneath Wonder.<br /> <br />
