    • Password + Limited Licence  Even when on OU network/domain/vpn needs special username and password (NOT OSS)  Log into Weblearn page to find out what it is (link on BLL page & OxLIP+)  We only have a subscription to part of a larger database  When you have finished your session, please click ESCI

    • Searching tips  Boolean: AND, OR, NOT + ( )  ADJ (adiacente, contiguo – dopo o prima)  NEAR (vicino – prima o dopo, entro n termini) e.g. NEAR5  THEN (dopo, poi, entro n termini) e.g. THEN3  Caratteri jolly * (to extend root word),?(for one letter) e.g. istig* - istigato, istigazione etc  Abbreviations with or without punctuation e.g. USA or U.S.A.
    • Search warning..  Manual says you should be able to use BOOLEAN “” to set exact phrase “frase esatta”  but this doesn’t always seem to work

    • Archivio rivista = drill down from year to issue. Full text of whole volumes but only from early 2000s onwards
    • Basic search e.g. Stipul! NEAR5 contratto
    • Improving results  Snippet view - Grafica  Reordering results (default is date newest)
    • Refining results

    • Ricerca per Estremi Search Screen –once you select title(s) then you can put in citation details
    • To download or email first use Appunta
    • Appunta: saves in Documenti appuntati Tools in My Page – Documenti appuntati – printing, emailing, downloading
    • Select then Download: Esporta
    • Select then send Invia Remember to change the default email to your own! You can change format to pdf
    • Search history: Ultime 20 ricerche THINK BEFORE ELIMINA – are the searches only yours? You cannot pick & choose ….
