  • 3. NOUNS VERBS ADJECTIVES ADVERBS PREPOSITINS - A noun is a word used to name a person, animal, place, thing, and abstract idea. Nouns are usually the first words which small children learn. EXAMPLES
  • 4. NOUNS VERBS ADJECTIVES ADVERBS PREPOSITINS - The verb is perhaps the most important part of the sentence. A verb asserts something about the subject of the sentence and expresses actions, events, or states of being. The verb or compound verb is the critical element of the predicate of a sentence. EXAMPLES
  • 5. NOUNS VERBS ADJECTIVES ADVERBS PREPOSITINS - An adjective is a word that tells us more about a noun. It qualifies or modifies a noun. EXAMPLES
  • 6. NOUNS VERBS ADJECTIVES ADVERBS PREPOSITINS - An adverb can modify a verb, an adjective, another adverb, a phrase, or a clause. An adverb indicates manner, time, place, cause, or degree and answers questions such as "how," "when," "where," "how much". EXAMPLES
  • 7. NOUNS VERBS ADJECTIVES ADVERBS PREPOSITINS - A preposition links nouns, pronouns and phrases to other words in a sentence. The word or phrase that the preposition introduces is called the object of the preposition. EXAMPLES PREPOSITINS
  • 8. - NOUNS - READING is useful for learning. - Nouns with the ING forms. - The BUS is late. - Normal words. - AHMED usually eats RICE . - Names of people, places or objects. EXAMPLES
  • 9.  VERBS - Ahmed LIKES eating sweets. - Main verb. - Ahmed IS tall. - Helping verb. EXAMPLES
  • 10.  ADJECTIVES - The university is BEAUTIFUL. - Ahmed is very TALL. - The date trees are USEFUL. EXAMPLES
  • 11.  ADVERBS - I’m TOTALLY disappointed. - Ahmed always walks QUICKLY. - He has JUST arrived. EXAMPLES
  • 12.  PREPOSITIONS - I work ON Saturday. - He put the pen IN the pocket. - The cat jumped THROUGH the window. EXAMPLES
