Introduction to JuniorSenior A little Founding history The company is owned by Ab Kuijer. We started in 1997 as Down Under and rebranded ourselves for an intermational expansion into JuniorSenior in 2003. At JuniorSenior we help companies and organisations to understand the new social media landscape and how to get the best out of their message if they want to connect now the next generation customers. JuniorSenior’s mission statement “ JuniorSenior wants to bring more fun to the world with positive communication. For the clients of our clients, for our clients and as a result also for us.”

Introduction to JuniorSenior Expertise The founder of JuniorSenior is considered as expert in Social Media en Youth Marketing. Ab is an international speaker at events about marketing, creativity and social media for The Canadian Public Relations Society in Saskatchewan, European Professional Women's Network in Nice, Bizkaia Creaktiva in Bilbao, Incredible Europe in Vienna and Creative Roturao in New Zealand . He is also author of the social media survival guide 'Think Small, Grow Big' published in the US by Cosimo Books, New York in May 2011. Ab is a senior communication consultant specialised in storytelling. A right brain-directed creative mind, thinking out of any box, connecting internal and external factors into a bigger plan. Twentyfive years experience in communication; from newspaper reporter, radiohost, tv and feature film producer to daily blogger, international speaker and creative director.

We have a lot of marketing and media expertise, but no one is trained (or conditioned) in the way the ‘old’ agencies work. We think different because we are different . The background of our people is broad; consultancy, c-level client-side, fashion, television, radio, journalism, events etc. JuniorSenior thinks and works ‘through the line’; There is no below or above borderline. We are a solution provider and deliver a total plan within a fixed budget . Clients like to work with us because we think beyond the briefing and use all we know and can.

Social Media is growing big and our biggest fear is that advertisers and their media agencies will try to use these channels to spam people with information. We have learned from the past (MySpace) that this is not the way to use Social media. We like to use Social Media for our clients to - listen - invite - engage - share inside info - do research That is not traditional advertising. But called communicating;-)

But if you are not well respected and active in the online world, then people will simply not believe you anymore.
