AMERICAN BOARD OF INTERNAL MEDICINETITLE: DATA ANALYST/RESEARCH ASSOCIATE LEVEL: E4DEPARTMENT: PSYCHOMETRICS (03) REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF PSYCHOMETRICS OPERATIONSKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:• Ability to work independently as well as with others.• Ability to manage time, work with changing deadlines and prioritize work.• Attention to detail is essential.• Strong quantitative analytical and research skills are essential.• Abelatedility to extract data from large databases and files for statistical analysis and report generation.• Strong working experience with basic statistical packages (Experience with SAS is essential).• Experience with Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint is essential.• Experience with database query language (SQL, PL/SQL) is highly desirable.• Experience with item response theory scoring and calibrations is highly desirable.• Understanding of basic research methodology and survey instrument design is highly desirable.• Bachelor’s degree, with three years of experience in data analysis and management is essential.• Master’s degree in Health Services Research, Biostatistics, Applied Statistics, Public Health, Health Policy, Sociology, Psychology, Measurement, or a r field is highly desirable.If you are interested in applying for this position, please contact Chris Brod in the Human Resources department,forward your information to resumehr@abim.org, or confidentially fax your resume to 215.446.3516.
