  • 2. A commonly reported laptop parts damage is that done to the keyboard, due to:OverheatingHeavy ImpactTimeSpilled Liquids Lets take spilled Liquids as an example for our DIY
  • 3. WHAT YOU WILL BE NEEDINGSmall TowelHair DryerTwo Hands
  • 4. o Turn off your LaptopThis is important to note becausewhen the spilled liquid comes intocontact with exposed laptopcomponents, it could irrevocablydamage your computer.
  • 5. o Wipe away the visible liquid on your gadget using the small towelAfter doing this, place the towel ona flat surface (a table, preferably),lift up your laptop and tilt it to theside to drain it of excess liquid
  • 6. o After draining your laptop, set it down gently on the table and, with a hair dryer, dry off the keyboard.
  • 7. o Wait for a couple of days before using your laptop againThis is important because there is alwaysthe possibility that a few wet spots could stillbe inside your computer. This is especiallytrue if the liquid spilled on your computerwas viscous like starchy soups or sugarydrinks. After waiting a few days, your laptopshould now be good to go.
