EMBARKATION & DISEMBARKATION <ul><li>The passenger is boarded first & deplaned last. </li></ul><ul><li>The ground staff hands over the minor to the cabin crew in charge of the zone/section in which the minor is to be seated. </li></ul><ul><li>All papers & documentation are given to the cabin crew. They are to be checked thoroughly. </li></ul><ul><li>Emergency procedures such as fastening of seat belts, usage of oxygen masks is told to the UNM. </li></ul><ul><li>The location of the galley, toilets and crew seats is shown to the UNM. </li></ul>

Oxygen mask <ul><li>An oxygen mask provides a method to transfer breathing oxygen gas from a storage tank to the lungs . </li></ul><ul><li>Oxygen masks may cover the nose and mouth (oral nasal mask) or the entire face (full-face mask). They may be made of plastic , silicone , or rubber . </li></ul>

  • 12. <ul><li>The aviation industry is one of the fastest growing industry in the world . </li></ul><ul><li>As earlier it used to take weeks to cross the ocean but now its just a matter of hours.. </li></ul><ul><li>The growth rate of domestic and international sector has been more than 25% which is highest in he world. </li></ul><ul><li>As the jobs available in this industry are of high risk the salary paid to the crew is very high as compared to other industry. </li></ul><ul><li>Improves technology. </li></ul><ul><li>Opportunity to visit different countries. </li></ul>
  • 13. <ul><li>DISADVANTAGES </li></ul><ul><li>It utilizes a lot of resources to do its thing fuel, rubber, metals, etc. hence it is getting too expensive. </li></ul><ul><li>It brings air pollution and increase in air traffic. </li></ul><ul><li>Hijack, bomb threat and emergency landing. </li></ul><ul><li>As there has been a hike in fuel charges, the airlines have increased their fares . </li></ul><ul><li>The air tickets will not be affordable to the common man and it would be only for high class society people. </li></ul><ul><li>No new aircrafts will be purchased . </li></ul><ul><li>Some airlines had cancelled all flights on routes that are un economic </li></ul>
  • 14. <ul><li>Airline increased their extra charges such as baggage handling to cover over all increased cost. </li></ul><ul><li>For crew members Very risky. </li></ul><ul><li>Limited Flying Cannot choose Destination Shouting from Passenger. </li></ul><ul><li>Cleaning the Washroom and vomits. </li></ul><ul><li>Taking care of medical passengers. </li></ul><ul><li>Handling Drunk Passenger with Abusive behavior. </li></ul><ul><li>No new aircrafts will be purchased . </li></ul><ul><li>Some airlines had cancelled all flights on routes that are un economic. </li></ul>

Difference between A-380 and A300 <ul><li>The A380 is currently the worlds largest passenger jet, It was much more recently build than the A300 </li></ul><ul><ul><li>As far size is concerned with the as the A300 and the A380 Its a bit like comparing a Mini Cooper to a tank, There is a massive size difference </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The A300 is slowly going out of service and being replaced by the A300 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>The A380 is also much more up to date and contains more advanced technology than the A300 </li></ul></ul>

The A300 has 1 LCD display per pilot and requires 3 pilots to operate, The A380 is about 5 times bigger than the A300 and only needs 2 pilots who are aided by no less than 9 LCD multifunction displays in the cockpit and the worlds most advanced aircraft systems operations computer The Airbus A300 is an airplane that is considerably smaller than the A380,holds way less seats, has analogue displays and gauges whereas the A380 has a fly by wire system, and all gauges and components of the aircraft are shown on computer like screens known as Multi-Function display screens or Med's </li></ul>
