The Science of Scuba
Nitrogen can harm your body severely
When you descend the pressure on your body greatly increases and equalizing your ears is a serious matter.
Breathing slowly and deeply continuously can keep you underwater longer.
When you ascend you rise NO FASTER than your own breathing bubbles

How it Relates to the Body Systems
Scuba diving can only be safe if your diving smart
You can greatly damage your respiratory system by ascending to quickly, this is because the faster you go the more nitrogen enters your body pressing on your lungs.
These small air bubbles enter your blood stream and pierce the lungs, causing great damage.
