Hello,
This is for those of you who are interested in speaking to an audience of students and managers of small and medium enterprises.
Best if you are:
- Involved in crafting strategy on a corporate or business-unit level
- Working at private equity, venture capital, mezzanine capital, activist hedge fund
- Advising in M&A – corporate finance, strategy consultant, lawyer
- Researching portfolio and business strategy from the ivory tower of academia
The speeches will be at the Arnhem Business School – an institution of good standing in the Netherlands and Germany. The student base at ABS is very international, reflecting the increasing economic globalization – the students come from the region, but also BRIC, MENA, The Americas, Eastern Europe, and SE Asia.
On 26 November 2008, ‘Perfect Match’, a forum on applied strategy, is going to take place at ABS. The intention is to explore strategy from as many angles as possible – Entering new markets and launching new products; coping with global competition; mergers & acquisitions aiming to capture synergies and match strengths with opportunities; due diligence and integration issues; buyouts that create value by financial engineering; surviving tight credit and spotting opportunities in the recession; turning around investments and selling them back to the public; spotting the next Google in the garage phase; developments in the market for corporate control; governance issues; strategic management through the use of real options and probability models.
This could be an opportunity for you to make yourself heard, enhance your institution’s reputation in Netherlands and North-west Germany, and get exposure to new business opportunities.
