But I know what some of you are thinking: “I barely have time to do my job now! All this “Cvent stuff” sounds like more work! We’ve been doing events for 10 years – we know this is an issue. All the back and forth with registrants can become extremely time-consuming for meeting planners. You have to send follow up emails to the undecideds, send reminders out before the event, manage cancellations, etc. Cvent does all of this automatically. Set up your initial email templates and the triggers for when you want them to go out. Cvent takes care of the rest, sending out personalized messaging according to the rules you give it. Cvent can even be set up to automatically send out survey questions asking how attendees thought the event went. Or asking people who didn’t attend WHY they didn’t attend. This can be important information to improve your next event - but how many meeting planners have time to do these things by hand?
