  • Plant Life
    • Plants differ from non-living things because they reproduce
    • The life cycle of plants vary from one plant to another
  • Types of Plants are:
    • Cacti
    • Flowers
    • Herbs
    • Bushes and Shrubs
    • Vegetables
    • Trees

  • Cacti
    • Well adapted to hot and dry weather by storing water in their succulent stems. They are also known for their spines for which they are famous!

  • Flowers
    • The reproductive part of flowering plants
  • Herbs
    • Used for cooking and medicines. In cooking the leaves of the herb are usually used.
  • Shrubs and Bushes
    • Woody plants, usually under 6m tall, having many stems and many of them covered with flower of all shapes and sizes.
  • Vegetables
    • Are parts of plants (seeds, stems or fruit) that we cook or eat raw.
  • Trees
    • Are found everywhere in the world.
    • They are tall, and some are very old too!
    • They are important because they hold soil in its place
    • They are important because they give us the clean oxygen we breathe!
  • Trees
    • Evergreen
    • Grows new leaves before the old ones fall off
    • Deciduous
    • Sheds all its leaves in autumn and grows new ones in Spring
  • Plant Life
    • Different trees have leaves which are different
  • What does a plant need to grow?
