Thebasic tasks include: sorting, washing ,extracting, drying, ironing, folding,mending and delivery. The main purposeof this department is to provide cleanmaterial to the patients and ensure thathygienic conditions are maintained in theprocess.
  4. 4.  The linen and laundry servicedepartment is situated away from thehospital area to protect the hospitalenvironment from the infectionbecause if the linen and laundryservice department situated in thehospital that should be cause theinfection. So always the linen andlaundry department away fromhospital work.
