Alexander died in June 323, Shortly before beginning of the planned Arabian campaign, Alexander contracted a high fever after attending a private party at his friend’s Medius of Larisa.
Alexander the Great, the Macedonian king and the great conqueror of the Persian Empire, dies at the age of 33 without designation a successor to the Macedonian Empire.
