  7. 7. Amaan Farooq, a photographer withGreater Kashmir was beaten and leftwith the injury in his leg by the policein Srinagar on January 6,2010, when he was covering a police operation. Azhar qadri, a reporter with the Kashmir Tribune newspaper wasbeaten and arrested by police whilecovering a protest in Srinagar on 26 september, 2012.
