Evaluation question 3

  1. 1. What have you learnt from audience feedback?
  2. 2. What we did for audience feedbackAfter we had completed our documentary we got a group of 15 people to watch it. We got themto watch the documentary itself, listen to the radio trailer and then look at the double pagespread. This meant that we could get feedback from a group of people that don’t particularlyknow us meaning the answers were going to be truthful and things that we could work for futuremedia projects. We completed a 12 question questionnaire and handed out to the audience andmade them answer the questions anonymously. How we gained our audience feedbackAfter we had handed out the questionnaire I looked through the answers and just tallied downthe feedback we got for each question, this then meant I could put it into graphs and clearlyshow what feedback we received, feedback whether it is positive or negative is always useful fora project because it can mean you can work on things that need to be improved but also meansyou can almost show off things that people like about your projects.

  16. 16. FeedbackOverall I think the feedback we received was more positive than negative, this is good because itmeans that the audience like our projects and would watch, listen and read them if they werereal. I think feedback is important and I wasn’t surprised by the results because due to theaudience giving me the feedback were the target audience which mean they would be interestedin our chosen topic, I also think that it’s a topic you want to know about whether you are ourtarget audience or not because its something that should be taken seriously. Feedback meansthat we can work on our documentary if we had more time to and then make sure that theaudience liked everything about the 3 projects but it is good if people don’t like it becauseeveryone has different tastes and ideas. With most people not wanting to change anything aboutour documentary this could be because they thought that everything worked well together, theonly questions that caused different answers were the questions we asked were to do withappearance of the double page spread and the style of documentary and radio trailer, I think thatthis it because everyone does have different tastes.
