Architected and optimized storage IO subsystem on EMC DMX 3000. Environment: 11.5.8 base install (ATG level of 11.5.10)/9.2.0.6, 96 implemented modules, split configuration on HP-UX/RH Linux/EMC DMX 3000 with DB >1.2 TerraByte, multi node, load balanced using BIG-IP. • Extensive performance testing using LoadRunner to identify performance bottlenecks. Extensive DB tuning using Oracle Wait Interface. Identified and tuned 100s of SQL statements, improving the application performance significantly. Installed 1159 and then upgraded the database from 1103 to 11.5.8 and then to 11.5.9 via a maintenance patch. Modules upgraded included SSP, PO, AR, AP, GL, FA, and HR. • Automated the cloning to a touch button cloning using FAST method and RAPID clone, Automated RMAN for duplication, backup and standby. Created 40 scripts to identify all customizations in a day from the database like value sets, custom forms, custom reports etc. • Created core trace file analyses scripts for wait based tuning. These scripts manipulate raw trace file to identify and pinpoint the code responsible for a particular wait.
