This is Tayla who is one of the
actors in our opening scene
and she I the person who is
getting kidnapped. In Vladimir
Propp’s theory Tayla is seen to
be the ‘princess’ who has been
taken from her hero, now she
will have to stay in captivity
with the kidnapper until her
knight and shining armor
comes to rescue her.

Damian
This is another actor who is
in our movie called Damian
and he is the hero in the
movie who rescues the
princess from the
antagonist. He is the
reason why Tayla has been
kidnapped therefore his
role in the scene is to go on
a mission looking for Tayla
who is his prize
possession.

Alex
The last actor in our opening
scene is Alex who is the
kidnapper and antagonist
within the movie. Due to the
problems he is having with
Damian he takes his anger
out on Tayla. His role in the
scene is to kidnapp his
enemies prize possession,
and he needs to ensure that
his face never gets revealed,
otherwise his game is over.

We do not have a wide range of
characters within our opening scene,
but the three that we do have, each
play significant roles that they need to
play within the scene, in order to follow
the storyline that we have created.
