When you are choosing an affiliate program to promote, it is important that you choose
the best programs to promote according to your niche markets. When you are doing
affiliate marketing, you will want to make sure that you will get the maximum results for
all the effort that you are going to put in. Before you even start to promote product,
choosing the right program will determine your results.
These are the 8 Checklist that I will use before I even joined the affiliate programs and
promote the product.
1. Is the product relevant to your market audience? This will be very important as
you will want to make sure that the product that you will be promoting has got links to
your market audience. You definitely do not want to promote a general fishing eBooks
when your market audience is specifically looking for fish recipes.
2. Is the product hot in demand or not? You will want to make sure that there are
some demands for the product. If the market does not want that particular product, it
will be a waste of your own time, effort and money to promote it. So do go and do
some homework so that it will justify your promotion.
3. Is there a lot of affiliates promoting the same products or not? You would want to
look at this from 2 points of view. The first view will be how much competition there are
among the affiliates that are promoting the same product. The 2nd view will be how
aggressive does the merchant market the product. You will definitely do not want to
promote a product that is in a very competitive market nor promoting a product that
has got no market at all. One of the simplest ways to check is to go to the Google and
click that product’s name to see the competition.
4. Is the affiliate program reliable or not? You will want to make sure that you join
an affiliate programs that will pay you in a timely manner and it has a good proven past
record. One of the ways is to join the affiliate programs that most famous marketer
joins. This itself will assure you that the programs is reliable.
