My Supermarket Register• It will ask you to registerto the website. It willrequire your name andpost code and the emailaddress you havealready made.• Also you will need a tocreate a password
Signing up• Enter your postcode your name and the emailaddress you made with us and enter a password.
Welcome message• This is the welcome that you will receive once youclicked register. Click continue button to continueyour shopping.
My Supermarket• This the home page of my Supermarket this iswhere you can choose your products andcompare different prices.
My Supermarket using the search bar.• You can search theproducts you want byusing the search bar.• My Supermarkets hasno limitations of itsoffers, the list ofdifferent choices youcan make.
Selecting products• To select the products,place your curser overthe product and leftclick on the mouse.
Comparison• When you have clicked the image it will show acomparison between the five cheapest shops withinthe UK. These are Tesco, Waitrose, Ocado,Sainsburys and ASDA.
Adding to basket• To add the item to your basket click the add to basketbutton.• After you have clicked the button it will show thatyou have added the item to the basket.
Items in basket• On the bottom right of your screen you will see thetotal price of the products that you have add toyour basket
Viewing your basket• To see what is in yourbasket click on the viewbasket button as shownin the print screen.
My basket• This is my basket, I have selected bread, yourbasket will be different to mine.
How to change stores• To change your supermarket provider, click on theirlogo.
Switching stores• If you have a store that is cheaper with yourproduct you would ultimately chose thecheaper supermarket to purchase from.
The selected store• My supermarket has chosen ASDA to buy frombut I want to buy from Sainbury’s. To do this weclick switch button underneath Sainbury’s tohave it as your main store to buy from.Before After
Cheapest products• As you can see in the image below, we are shoppingwith Sainburys and we have added more than oneproduct to our basket. My supermarket is showing usthat ASDA is cheaper overall.
Switching• My supermarket shows that if you choose ASDA, itwill save you £1.62. where as Tesco will save us 45p,obviously we will choose ASDA, as it is the cheapest.
Checking out• Click the checkout button and it will sayfrom the supermarket you have chosen.
• Now that we have selected ASDA, you can seethat it’s the cheapest overall.
Final Savings• A pig will appear and will tell you how muchyou have saved.
Making a account with thesupermarkets• If you have not got a account with thesupermarket shown in my supermarket thenclick on the message saying no I dont have anaccount and I would like to make one.
Entering personal details• As before in the previous lessons enter in yourpersonal details into the boxes to make an accountwith the supermarket you have chosen to buy from.• Click register after you have filled the boxes in.
Registration complete• This is a conformation of the registration hasbeen completed.
Payment• After registering with the supermarket thismessage will appear and will tell you that paymentis ready to be made to the store you are shoppingwith.
Redirecting• My supermarket will bring you to your selected supermarket, onceyou are there sign in with an Sainsburys account if you have one. Ifnot you will need to create one by pressing register.
Your chosen supermarket basket• Once you have loggedinto your account withthe supermarket youhave chosen (i.e.Sainsburys) it willdisplay the items youhave chosen on mysupermarket to bepurchased anddelivered.
Minimal orders• For most supermarketsit will only allow you topurchase £25 worth ofproducts this is notadvisable if you want tojust buy one productbut you could do yourweekly shopping usingthis website.
