Like all sincere boyfriends I like to celebrate my Valentine’s Day with my one and only true love…..Travelling. Therefore, each year on Valentine’s Day I travel to a new city filled with budding young lovers and seasoned old ones to map the Valentine’s landscape. And, since you are likely stuck with your better halves in more or less the same old setting, year after year, you might consider spending your Valentine’s Day each year in a different city just like me, of course with your better halves. Surprisingly, each city has such a unique Valentine vibe to it, every time it’s like celebrating it for the first time.

    • Celebrate India - Valentine’s Day with Yatra.comLike all sincere boyfriends I like to celebrate my Valentine’s Day with my one and only truelove…..Travelling. Therefore, each year on Valentine’s Day I travel to a new city filled withbudding young lovers and seasoned old ones to map the Valentine’s landscape. And, sinceyou are likely stuck with your better halves in more or less the same old setting, year afteryear, you might consider spending your Valentine’s Day each year in a different city justlike me, of course with your better halves.Surprisingly, each city has such a unique Valentinevibe to it, every time it’s like celebrating it for thefirst time.I’ll start with Shimla. Now, this is the perfectValentine’s setting for those lovers who like to stayglued to each other for the entire duration of theday. It’s shitty cold, most likely snowing and only ifyou can manage a hotel room with a big window, nice view, and a fire place……….your day is made. Incase you do gather the guts and spare time to step out, there is always the snow clad MallRoad available for a hand-in-hand romantic walk to make the day even more memorable.Next on the list is Delhi. This is the place to celebrate Valentine’s Day if either of you areinto the clichéd romantic dinners (and if the food actually really matters). Delhi isundoubtedly one of the most exciting places for foodies from around the world. Trust meyou’ll never fall short of good places to take your girlfriend out in this city. From the mostexotic 5 star restaurants to the most surprisingly spicy roadside vendors, Delhi has it all,you make your pick and the city will deliver.Second last on my list is Bangalore. If you want to party, party really HARD and party instyle on Valentine’s Day, this city will definitely give you the best memorable hangovers(yes that’s possible here) of your life. And the best part is that being an IT city, Bangalorehas an absolute no nonsense crowd, so you can be all by yourself even in the thicket crowd. And as if all this wasn’t enough, for some strange reason that I can’t seem to understand,Bangalore attracts the hottest international talent especially DJ’s and music bands. Thesepeople just make the night come alive and take it to a whole new level.I saved the best for the last…Mumbai… meri jaan. Since I am a total filmy dude at heart,Mumbai understandably figures right at its center. For anyone looking for a filmy
    • Valentine’s Day, just close your eyes and book your tickets for Mumbai. This place is India’sNew York and trust me with the supersonic pace of life there no one pays a heed to whatyou get down to as long as you keep to yourself. The Marine Drive is the lover’s paradisehere and on Valentine’s Day, it’s a houseful!I think four cities will do for now. You are covered for the next four years, at least. So comeon, go get some tickets booked and I’ll get mine. And, perhaps next year around the sametime I’ll be back with yet another exciting experience and even wilder ideas. Until thenmake love not war.Happy Valentine’s Day to you all,This is Joy signing off,Ciao.
