  • Let’s use a comparison. Pretend that you have a cookie loose in your shirt pocket. The cookie breaks. You must now have to pick all of the loose bits of crumbs out of your pocket. Sometimes it is impossible to get it all out.The periodontal pocket is a similar pocket and poses the same problem. Depending on the depth of the pocket it is often virtually impossible to keep clean so it is free of destructive bacterial toxins. In many cases we will recommend the surgical removal of the pocket so the patient can keep the are clean.
  • See the bacteria beside the tooth. That bacteria leaches into the blood vein causing bacteria and clots to build inside the vein which goes to the heart and brain causing strokes and cardiovascular disease. From having gum disease it can take up to 5 months to get pregnant. Black people up to 1 year. Gum disease attacks the sperm and organs in the body. If you are pregnant the baby is being nourished through the blood it also effects the baby. Using infertile drugs leads to gum disease which cause more infertility problems.Gums are the gateway to the whole body which in turns makes the sperm immobile.

  • In another experiment, two thymol-based mouthwashes were compared side by side. The first was a standard commercial product with no liposome-based deliver; the second used a liposomal delivery system. The level of thymol measured in saliva over a period of 5 min. was measured. With the commercial product, the thymol dropped off quickly, whereas with Fresh Essence Mouthwash (liposome-based), there was significantly higher level of thymol in each saliva sample.
  • DOUBLE DENTAL IMPLANT CAREDeborah Lynne Carlton I have never been at ease with receiving dental work. No mater how routine or complex the event, my hands are clenched, body tense, breath shallow for every second that I’m not monitoring & and reminding myself to relax….it is exhausting emotionally & physically though it does help when you find an excellent surgeon who you feel good about. Here is what I used to support myself through this process. I should add that I have been pain free post procedure & onward & used only oils – NO Tylenol, NO pain meds, Honest!!!PLEASE NOTE: the following oils are therapeutic singles & blend from YL. DO NOT run out & purchase retail oils at a natural food stores & bath shops & expect them to provide these benefits. Most commercially available essential oils have been distilled with chemicals, & diluted with antifreeze which may render toxic reactions.Prior to Procedure I appliedValor a few drops on the jaw, back of neck, bottom of feet. This is an alignment blend that supports one’s electrical/nervous system, which certainly takes some stress during oral surgery. It also enhances confidence, which I definitely used!OREGANO & THYME 3 drops each on the bottom of the feet with a dab at the base of the skull. This is for the immune strength & infection fighting properties, since this is important with any surgery, & the immune system receives a lot of stress from any surgical procedures & related tension/worry/ & fatigue.PEACE & CALMING a drop on the back of the neck, under the nose, and inhaled. This blend is calming & sedating to the nervous system – good medicine for overactive children, people who suffer from anxiety & people who REALLY dislike oral surgery.POST PROCEDURE I applied:TRUMA LIFE this blend is to negotiate the imprint of trauma on the emotional center of the brain & immune system. Any surgery is received as a trauma, & this tends to send off a domino effect throughout the body systems. I placed a drop on the rims of my ears & gently massaged it in – an excellent delivery point for those issues.DEEP RELIEF This roll-on is great for pain & muscle spasm. I rolled it directly onto my jaw, on the sides and underneath…& also on my tense neck. The oils quickly penetrate into the tissue & deliver oxygen & healing chemistry. I used this for the next week & truly had no pain. Awoke with a twinge or two some mornings, but forgot to use after a while.LAVENDER I rubbed on my face & jaw to help move out the swelling & provide general healing resource. Since the implants were on both sides, I received double Novocain. The whole lower face was numb and the oils actually pushed the Novocain out quicker & keep it from swelling more.CLOVE as you that the dental community is long acquainted with the benefits of clove, both for numbing pain & providing anti-infectious compounds. I use a glass dropper, taking up a drop of clove oil & releasing it around the tooth site & gum.WINTERGREEN is great for bone tissue, I have been using wintergreen the same way as clove during the important bone generating phase post surgery.ADDITIONAL RESOURCES: I also used oils for their anti-microbial properties & took probiotics & enzymes. I immediately visited my chiropractor(the same day as the procedure) who is excellent at realigning the jaw, neck and any other stiff places that can happen during dental work. Also supporting other systems that sometimes shut down due to the shock from surgery. Not everyone’s system responds the way mine does. I used the sauna most applying the oils before getting in and excellent results.
  • To preserve dental enamel, a toothpaste should have extremely fine particle size: particles fine enough to not damage or abrade irreplaceable enamel, but yet sufficiently strong to remove the biofilm for dental plaque (caused by Streptococcus mutans bacterial) that can cause tooth decay, gingivitis and dental disease. Hi, I use: ½ c. baking soda with 10 drops thieves and 5 drops Cassia.Cassia removes plaque. Mix it really well, because lumps are HOT oils!It had been over 2 years since I had been to the dentist and it literallydidn’t take them three minutes to clean my teeth. They asked what I used! Deborah
  • I have a daughter who was considered a high risk dental patient from her first dentist visit.  Her baby teeth came in with not enough enamel onthem and she would have up to 5 cavities every 6 months even though shebrushed, flossed, etc.  After her first check up after using Dentarome for 6 months she had NO CAVITIES and that was two years ago if I remember right. In the past two years she had one small cavity.
  • Last year I was playing volleyball and got hit hard in the mouth with an elbow.  It pushed my front tooth back quite a ways, far enough that I could not chew because it would hit the other teeth at an odd angle.  When I had it x-rayed I was told that the bone behind the tooth was crushed, but the tooth itself was unbroken.  The dentist said the nerve was dead and I would need to get a root canal.  My tooth had started turning gray and he told me this was because no blood was circulating to my tooth. Instead of a root canal, I decided to go the alternate route.  I started on a routine using the Antimicrobial oil  Thieves Blend every morning and night I brushed my teeth with Dentarome toothpaste, rinsed my mouth with the antimicrobial Thieves Mouthwash, and applied the Thieves Oil Blend directly to my tooth. The dentist had told me the only way to reposition the tooth was with braces, but within the first couple of weeks, my tooth moved back into its original position on its own.  Then, slowly but surely, my tooth went from very gray to white.  I now have feeling in my tooth and you are not able to tell which one got hit. In another case a few years ago my sister went to the dentist to discover that she had over 10 cavities.  Since it was going to be very costly to fill them all, my parents decided to wait a few months and use the oils.  Every night and morning she brushed her teeth with the Thieves toothpaste, and applied the Thieves oil Blend undiluted to her teeth.  When she went back to the dentist four months later, she had only two cavities.  Those two had been the very worst, but even they were almost gone.  The dentist was amazed and my parents were thankful to only have to pay to have two cavities filled instead of ten. Margaret Brock, Marble Hill, Missouri
  • 92. Brush every day to prevent cavities and gum disease. 93. Use when teeth have been damaged or broken to help them heal. 94. Use to prevent or heal gum disease. 95. Apply as an underarm deodorant. My 7 year old had several cavities and the doctor wanted me to give himadditional fluoride and I really didn't want to do that. In fact, last May(2001) when we took him to the Dentist we did not allow them to take x-rayssince they had just taken some the previous December (2000). The dentist wasnot happy, but honored our request. He said, you know your son has someserious cavities and we would like to monitor them and the only way to do sois by taking x-rays during each visit. We acknowledged his concern, butstated ours. My husband and I agreed taking x-rays once a week was more thanenough. Last February I had started him brushing his teeth with theDentarome Toothpaste and Mouthwash. When we went back 7 months later(December 2001) for another cleaning his dentist was pleasantly surprisedafter reviewing his x-rays.  It had been a year since the last x-rays weretaken and his old cavities had not grown in size and he had no new cavities. The proud dentist said, "WOW, the fluoride and the flossing must really beworking, mom's doing a good job little guy." I told him, well, I ashamed tosay that during the past six months I've probably flossed his teeth 12 timesand I don't have him on the fluoride or on traditional toothpaste. He said,REALLY! What are doing for him? I then told him about Dentarome toothpasteand he had the assistant document that on his chart and said he would like asample of the toothpaste. Two weeks ago I took him a sample and he was verypleased to see that it did not contain SLS. In fact, that was the firstthing out of his mouth when he read the label. He said he was going topersonally use the toothpaste and he would call me to discuss the productfurther.  Our next dental appt. is in May so we will see what the doctorthinks of the product if I don't hear from him before then and we will seehow well son's cavities are doing.Rebecca Sanchez-HaasSan Antonio, TX
  • According to my daughter, my grandson did not like the Dentarome toothpaste, and would not use it. Instead he was using Spiderman toothpaste with fluoride from the store. Not only were the ingredients not healthy, but my four year old grandson was swallowing the toothpaste. He just didn't understand how to spit yet. Recently, I took a brand new tube of Dentarome toothpaste with me, and told my grandson that I had something very special for him and for his toothbrush. I put just a tiny bit of the toothpaste on his brush, and now he likes it and wants the toothpaste that Granny gave to him for brushing his teeth. Then, when I wasn't there, his mother put too much on the toothbrush, and he didn't like it again. So I found out that the problem was that using too much makes it too strong. Using just a little makes it just right, and he likes it. And it's okay if he doesn't spit this toothpaste out. Gail Kuettel
  • 73. Rinse daily for clean breath and to keep teeth and gums healthy. 74. Gargle before a singing engagement to clear mucus. A 6 mo., double blind controlled clinical study at the University of Maryland similarly found that the E.O.’s of thyme, peppermint, wintergreen, & eucalyptus dramatically improved oral hygiene. Killing the bacteria that cause plaque, tooth decay, and gingivitis. In this case, 20 ml of mouthrinse used twice daily produced a 34% inhibition of both plaque and gingivitis compared with common mouthwash.
  • Lozenges made with mucus-binding system to release menthol flavor slowly are compared to control menthol lozenges. Timing began when the lozenge was completely dissolved in the mouth. Thieves Lozenges can provide extended oral freshness longer than a standard menthol lozenge. So as we suck on the menthol we are controlling the plaque and fighting gingivitis.69. Take with the first sniffle and signs of a cold or sore throat to ward it off. 70. Take prior to singing performances to keep the voice strong and hit the high notes. 71. Use to hasten the healing when a cold or flu has been contracted. 72. Suck on one as you enter an airplane to protect you from germs onboard.
  • Eugenol, clove’s principal constituent, was used in the dental industry for years to numb gums. Dr Gattefosse’ 1990 demonstrated that a solution of .05% eugenol from clove oil was sufficient to kill the tuberculosis.Pat writes: Great story and I have another one on this subject. Several years ago I was shopping in my small town and oneof the merchants looked like she'd been drug through aknot hole backwards. I asked her,What's the matter? I have a toothache and I have walked the floor all night.Oh,don't you know about clove oil? was my reply. She saidoh,I used some. I said it wasn't pure or you would havehad instant relief. Well I'm coming to see you. She came to our pharmacyand wellness store. I also suggested that she get Exodus IIfor the infection. Well she came in about 1 hour later, put the Clove oil onthe area and had instant relief. She went back to her storeand her husband came in from concern of her suffering andpain. She said watch the store while I put on this Exodus IIon the area. Immediately the area drained of pus etc. She did this twice a day and on Monday returned to the dentistfor extraction. --everything was healed and no extraction. The dentist was in our store,15 minutes later and said, hehad never seen such a turn around. Everyone was happy and we have shared with lots of folks. Pat----------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • “There is no way of knowing what is in the product,” said Dr. Imrek. “We don’t know the ingredients, we don’t know the concentrations and we don’t know the quality control. “Since there is no quality control an ingredient may be listed on the label but left out to save money. Or it may be in the product but in such minute amounts that it may not be effective at all. “the main concern is the large amount of fluoride found in some of the imported toothpaste –from 4 to 10 times as much as in American products. One reason why they have more fluoride is because they don’t put it in their water so it goes into the toothpaste. If you have fluoride in your water, and have had fluoride treatments on your teeth and then brush with fluoride toothpaste that has 4 times the amount approved by he FDA so you are getting excess amount. U.S, toothpaste has the FDA label so you know its from the U.S. But why brush with something that has a warning if swallow contact poison control? Use a toothpaste that the children can swallow and not be harmful.

  • 3. At the 2001 annual session of the American College ofCardiology, researcher were stunned by new researchthat showed gingivitis is actually linked to heart disease.“There is sufficient evidence to conclude that orallesions, especially advanced periodontal disease, placecertain patients at risk for cardiovascular disease andstroke,” stated Louis F. Rose, DDS,MD, of University ofPennsylvania. The same oral pathogenPorphyromonasgingivalis that causes gum disease, alsocontributes to the inflammation along arteries & arterialdamage that leads to heart and vascular disease.
  • 4. While brushing mechanically removes some of theplaque and pathogens, it still leaves 40 to70% ofmicroorganisms behind unscathed to later repopulatethe mouth. Oral hygiene could be vastly improved byadding proven and potent antiseptic to the toothpaste ,rather than relying on either fluoride or scrubbing.Essential oils are ideal for use in oral care productsbecause they are both antiseptic and non-toxic….a rarecombination. Jean Valnet, M.D., who used E.O.’s fordecades in his clinical practice emphasized this: E.O.’sare especially valuable as antiseptic because of theiraggression toward microbial germs is matched by theirtotal harmlessness toward tissue.”
  • 5. Essential oils constituents, such as thymol, Menthol andEucalyptol, have been used in mouth rinses for over100 yrs. [and] have been documented to be antibacterialin laboratory tests. With the association ofmicroorganisms & plaque formation, and [their]suspected involvement with tooth decay & gingivitis, theeffect of essential oil takes on new interest. The E.O’s ofthyme, clove and cinnamon possess significantinhibitory affects against 23 different general of bacteria.
  • 6. A comprehensive 2002 survey of medical literature hasshown that thyme oil is one of the strongest naturalantiseptics known. Researchers found that thymekills over 60 different strains of bacteria and 16different strains of fungi. A 1995 study by NicoleDidry at the College of Pharmaceutical & BiologicalSciences in Lille, France, found that thyme at evenvery small concentrations (500 parts per million orless) killed the pathogenic organisms responsible forthe tooth decay, gingivitis, and bad breath.Over 100 studies have been documented on how E.O.’skill the microbes that cause tooth decay andgingivitis. • 7. The problem with many common brand toothpastes isthat they contain very large-sized abrasive particles thatcan quickly wear away tooth enamel. Because toothenamel is not regenerated by the body, it is lostpermanent. As tooth enamel is, the softer dentin material underneathis exposed and thereby greatly enhances the risk ofdental decay and tooth loss.Graph shown at 500 times magnificationA. • 8. Deborah Lynne CarltonFollowing a final tooth extraction in January of 2009, thenext step was the placement of two titanium posts in thelower jaw where molars once resided. For thisprocedure the surgeon drills down into the jaw about3/8ths of an inch, placing the screw-threaded posts witha cap on it. This will remain for approximately 3 monthswhile the bone knits around the posts, before placingthe "abutment" that will hold the temporary tooth andeventually the final tooth.
  • 9. Most toothpastes use questionable chemicals suchaspentasodiumtriphoshate&tetrasodiumpyrophoshateto control tarter, The scale that builds up on teeth &irritate gums, leading to gingivitis, tooth loss, &periodontal disease. However recent studiespublished in The American Journal of Dentistryhave documented the significant tartar-reducingeffects of zinc citrate. Among these clinical studiesas a randomized, double-blind 6 mo. trial whichshowed that a zinc-citrate containing toothpastecould reduce tartar by 26%.

Our team foundthat we could use the oils on osteopathic legions andacupuncture points, & this helped the patients to get betterdramatically faster. We then began to use oils for emotionalhealing. We are seeing great success with that. We have seendramatic recovery with both single and blends.

Causing stomach irritation, nausea & abdominal pain.“Some people actually could be allergicto some of the ingredients.
  • 19. Fluoride, a neurotoxin that has been linked to reduced IQ, impairedneurobehavioral development and brain damage, among many other serioushealth problems, is sometimes prescribed in supplement form to childrenages 6 months to 16 years who live in areas that have non-fluoridateddrinking water. These recommendations now defy rational logic and common sense on twofronts:1) even promoters of fluoridation now admit that fluorides predominantaction is on the surface of the tooth and not from inside the body (CDC,1999) and2) there are more than 100 published studiesillustrating fluorides harm tothe brain, plus 25 published studies directly linking fluoride exposure toreduced IQ in children! In other words, it doesnt do much (if any) good toswallow fluoride and doing so could be doing significant harm.Adding insult to injury, new research has further revealed that ingestingfluoride in supplement form does not reduce cavities in primary teeth – andmay in fact cause harm. The CDC admitted in 2010 that 41% of American children between the ages of12-15 had this irreversible staining of their teeth (CDC, 2010) and in 2005revealed that minority children are disproportionately impacted by thiscondition (CDC, 2005, Table 23).
  • 20. ADA Recommends Fluoride Supplements Despite Evidence of Serious RisksThe truth has always been that fluoride is a toxic agent that is biologically active in thehuman body where it accumulates in sensitive tissues over time, wreaks havoc withenzymes and produces a number of serious adverse health effects —includingneurological and endocrine dysfunctions (NRC, 2006).Nearly 10 years ago, Belgium banned the sale of all non-prescription fluoridesupplements citing well-documented research indicating that ingested fluoride has"considerable potential" for physical and neurological harm, with little evidence of cavityprevention. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), meanwhile, has not foundfluoride supplements to be safe or effective, according to the National Institute of Health, which lists a laundry list of fluorides effects, including:Staining of teeth Unusual increase in saliva Weakness Stomach pain and upset stomach,Vomiting, Diarrhea , Rash , Salty or soapy taste , Tremor SeizuresNot to mention, its known that over time fluoride accumulates in many areas of yourbody, including areas of your brain that control and alter behavior, particularly yourpineal gland, hippocampus and other limbic areas. One particularly striking animal studypublished in 1995showed that fluoride ingestion had a profound influence on theanimals brains and altered behavior. Pregnant rats given fluoride produced hyperactiveoffspring. And animals given fluoride after birth became apathetic, lethargic "couchpotatoes."This study was particularly powerful because the effects were measured using objectivecomputerized evaluations of behavior, to rule out subjective bias by the researchersobserving the animals. For the past 60 years, pregnant women have ingested fluoridated water and usedfluoridated water to reconstitute infant formula for their babies. If the adverse effectsassociated with fluoride exposure in animals are true for humans as well, wed expect tosee a striking change in human behavior at this point as well.
  • 21. Of Course Fluoride Is Safe…as Long as You Dont Swallow It!This is the standard warning on every tube of toothpaste with fluoride. So, let’s get this straight: Fluoride ispoisonous, but a little bit of poison is okay? Yet if you swallow too much, you need to call Poison Control.Wow! And we’ve heard since early childhood that fluoride is a wonder substance for preventing cavitiesand tooth decay. Ironically, not even that has been proved true. It’s been shown that fluoride doesn’tactually prevent tooth decay and, in fact, it may even hurt your health.Fluoride is diluted industrial waste, with some heavy marketing dollars behind it to help hide that toxicwaste in our products and water supply. According to Dr. Russell Blaylock, “Fluoride is one of the mostpoisonous substances on earth. It tends to accumulate in the body, particularly in the bones, thyroid gland, and brain. It lowers IQ and is associated with Down syndrome, and it triggers toxicity in the human body. But the people who are promoting it have so much influence through the media that you really can’t get thetruth out.” Because fluoride affects your thyroid gland, it limits your body’s output of this importanthormone — which could lead to weight gain.Furthermore, consider this: Most health authorities suggest drinking at least eight glasses of water per dayfor good health, but how much fluoride are you getting when you drink a glass of artificially fluoridatedwater? About the same as if you swallowed a pea-sized blob of toothpaste — which the label clearly tellsyou not to do. If it’s unsafe to swallow eight blobs of toothpaste with FDA-approved fluoride every day forlife, or take eight pills containing this amount of fluoride, why are we told it’s okay to drink this amount ofthe diluted industrial waste that has never been FDA-approved for human consumption?Unfortunately, fluoride is piped into many of our homes through our water system, making it a difficultsubstance to avoid. Here’s how to cut back on your exposure to fluoride:· Drink cleaner water. If you live in an area where the water is fluoridated, sign up for bottledunfluoridated water to drink, or install reverse osmosis systems on all of your faucets to help filter thesubstance out of your water supply. Be sure to change the filters every three months to keep the waterfluoride free, as fluoride can eat through the metal filters (and if it’s eating through metal filters, justimagine what it can be doing to your body!).· Look for unfluoridated toothpaste and dental treatments. There are unfluoridated versions out there, especially in the natural food stores. If you’re unable to find them, avoid swallowing toothpaste. Considerrefusing fluoride treatments at the dental office for your children. Definitely use Young Living Products!!!
