nice, but avoid any loud patterns
(e.g., a ‘jail bird’ pinstripe) at all
costs. Our suit is from Benetton for

The Tie
You’ll need a tie to pull the whole
professional look together. Stripes,
solids checks or plaids are totally fine
for work. We like silk. But, wools are a
great choice too. Just avoid the dreaded
cartoon character tie. Leave that one for
your next costume party. Our tie is from
TheTiebar.com for $15.00.

The Reversible Belt
The reversible belt is the handiest tool and greatest arsenal
in a man’s closet. Wear it black one day
with your black shoes. Then, wear the
other side with your brown shoes.
This is key for anyone who wants to
avoid a fashion faux pas. Our belt
is from Boston Traveler available at
Overstock.com for $20.00.
The Dress Sock 8
While it may be more comfortable for you to put
on your athletic socks for work, you’re not going
to the gym. Make your mark by choosing dark
dress socks, ones that match your trousers. Our
socks are from Buy.com for $8.79 for 6 pairs.
The Perfect Polo
7 A polo shirt is an easy-to-wear
staple that dresses up jeans,
khakis, or other casual pants. With
or without a logo (e.g., Polo
horse, Lacoste alligator),
owning polos in both neutral
and bold colors will make
getting dressed a breeze.
