  • 3. DEFINITION OF THERMAL POWER PLANT It is a plant where we can obtain electrical energy from burning a fossil fuel, such as oil, natural gas or coal, as it turns liquid water into steam that will then be used to move the turbine.
  • 4. DEFINICIÓN DE CENTRAL TÉRMICA Es una central donde podemos obtener energía eléctrica a partir de la quema de un combustible fósil, como puede ser el petróleo, el gas natural o el carbón, ya que esto convierte el agua líquida en vapor que luego será utilizado para mover la turbina.

  • 11.  Europe has got most of the thermal power plants in the world, almost like all the other continents together.

  • 13. ADVANTAGES 1. It is a quick and cost-effective way to get energy. 2. The ashes produced due to the burning of these fuels can be reused. 3. The energy is produced in large quantities.
