    2. 2. What is 21st Century Learning? It is a process of redefining the goals of education by fostering the essential learning skills in addressing a rapidly changing world.  Critical and Creative Thinking  Communication  Collaboration 21st Century learning involves motivating and engaging students to be successful in meeting the demands of the future.
    3. 3. Critical and Creative Thinking... -Develops individuals who value knowledge and learning. -Is demonstrated by individuals who think for themselves. -It contributes to a mutual understanding of social interactions within any given situation. -It is skills that are essential
    4. 4. Communication Developing the ability to use technological tools that can help one adapt to a 21st century world. This is accomplished by the availability of unlimited access to information providing students with more choices and therefore more freedom to learn. -Communal sharing, adapting, negotiating and exploring (*through networking, etc.)connecting the classroom globally.
    5. 5. Collaboration - Students and teachers working together in a respectful relationship to reach a common goal. - Bringing multiple individuals with various perspectives together as one, but yet accepting differentiation. - Expanding learning beyond the classroom into real world audiences.
