What Follows Diversity Awareness Training - Presentation Transcript
What Follows Diversity Awareness Training?
Our Organization has Completed Diversity Awareness Training Now What Do We Do Now?
Consider forming a committee to assess and review several follow up initiatives to further the organization’s diversity initiative beyond diversity awareness training.
Process
Consider seeking the help of a trained facilitator to assist the committee with this process
Introduce the committee to six (6) possible initiatives to pursue beyond diversity awareness training
Participants will work in groups
Each group will be provided a specific initiative and will work as a team to provide reasons why their assigned initiative would be the most appropriate follow up project to pursue
Each group will report its findings to the larger group
The facilitator will provide information to help the committee decide on the most appropriate projects to pursue beyond diversity awareness training.
MESSAGE FROM CEO
Hello Staff!
We’ve completed our diversity awareness training session, but I wish to do more. Therefore, I ask you to work in assigned teams to provide me arguments about what initiative we should pursue next.

GOOD LUCK! I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO HEAR YOUR SUGGESTIONS!
