Camer shots

  1. 1.  <br />This is an establishing shot that generally shows a setting. It normally shows an exterior e.g. a building or landscape.<br />
  2. 2. This is an example of a long shot which shows a character in their surroundings. It shows the character as life size i.e. head and the top of the frame and feet at the bottom.<br />
  3. 3. This is an example of a medium shot, showing a character from the waist up. Variations include two-shot, three-shot or over the shoulder shot.<br />

  5. 5. This is an example of a close-up. This concentrates on facial expression, emotions and specific details of mise-en-scene.<br />
  6. 6. This is an example of an extreme close up. This shows the significance of an object.<br />
  7. 7. This example of a point-of-view shot. This shows the view from the characters perspective.<br />
  8. 8. This is a high angles shot which shows power towards the viewer and a lower status to the subject being taken.<br />
  9. 9. This is a low angle shot showing power towards the subject and more tension.<br />
  10. 10. This is a location shot as it shows the viewer the whole location and its surroundings.<br />
