  • First, an individual must understand that facing doubt by others is just a part of business as well as what happens generally in everyday life. The key to how a person is able to handle such misgivings by others is to be self-assured of self, which means 'Know Who You Are' prior to finding yourself at this unrestricted shareable crossroad that we all must bear. Only then will a person be able to rightfully hear criticism from the mouths of friends, colleagues, or associates. When you know who you are, you are able to receive remarks of kindness or negativity from another. Then, you have a choice to either identify with some or all of the negative remarks and work on changing your behavior or reject the statements and discard the person’s observation. You can remain joyful in any situation because it is not up to the other person, it is up to you. Use everything given to you, especial that without restrictions, as tangible objects placed in a large canvas for learning and understanding. This will always create a better you!

  • No one enjoys having their work or their personal being negatively criticized it does impact your self-confidence and can shake your self-esteem, especially when it is someone you look up to or are eager to please. Just keep in mind, as long as you can look yourself in the mirror and honestly say you have given your 100%+ you should never ever allow anyone to take that joy away from you nor should you apologize for their inability to appreciate you!

  • First, you have to ask yourself if any of their doubts are appropriate and/ or true. Only you know if there is truth in their concerns, and you have to honestly know and search yourself. If there is some truth to the concerns, acknowledge it to yourself and make adjustments. If it’s not true, acknowledge that to yourself too. This is also where best friends come into play. The key words here are best friends: not colleagues, not associates. I mean the friends who know all of your faults and love you anyway. Share the doubts with them. and they will tell you the truth about yourself. However, you should take note of who has doubts and expressed them to other colleagues. Sometimes, people like to take the attention of off their weaknesses by shining a light, especially a false light, onto others.
