  • Nice video. I'm in transformation after having been permanenly laid off from IBM. Every point you touched I saw happening in my everyday life at IBM. I had absolutely No work- life balance to the point that my son moved in with his dad. Using a client-centered model, there was constance "whip cracking" to do more with little to no emphasis on the employee. This created a negative work environment as employees began complaining about being over worked. I was a high performer as ratings indicated and I consider the layoff as a blessing. I am looking for a position that will afford me time with family and time to myself.

  • I removed a lot of toxic people in my life to grow my business as well, or so I thought. My plan was to be a go getter. I talked with lots of people everyday about wanting to join Avon and how the teams were inspiring. But for customers I had to learn the hard way, I took in the image that all people are honest when doing business and got stiffed on $150 order and loss my job. Nine months later I was rehired in , But I stuggled to stay afoot, Now I feel as though my motivation has inspired others to try harder at their job. I pushed my way back to the top. I am still currently pushing because I want to be comfortable were I am at, so now I ask for the cash or check up front.

  • I have learned the hard way that there are people who will take advantage and lie about what they are experts at and what they are not. I have made it my goal this year to end any business realtionship that is not providing me with what I was told I would get. I have never lied to someone and said I would do something that I couldn't do. I have come to see that there are shady mean people who will do whatever they can just to get money and they do not care if they are stopping you from your business activities. I am never letting this happen to myself again.
