ABSTRACT
To achieve educational excellence, leaders, teachers, and district administrators
must be strategic in planning for instructional success. By utilizing the six realms of
meaning in professional learning communities, leaders and teachers will be able to
achieve the highest levels in educational achievement. Strategic planning should be
viewed as “Strategic Thinking” about what is working and what standards, if any,
should be set in an undetermined and constant changing educational system. This
task requires an excessive amount of communication with all stakeholders.
