  • 1. my journal is my Twitter, and my blogs
    2. Long term goal: http://bit.ly/StartupAccelerator; short term: establishing a digital communication agency to bring technology, science, and art together
    3. Wake-up every morning at 7am (quite a routine, and not a must)
    4. Hm, meditate - having an open view out of the window while connected with the world
    5. ... morning walk, this is lacking
    6. This I do often, e.g. initiating Google visit for Russian minister
    7. Mass media - only culture radio, MDR Figaro, and once in while a paper (often in the library)
    8. Questioning the status quo, as things that happen disturb me or are not to understand, make me a contrarian on a daily basis, alway on the lookout for better solutions to present issues
    9. Exercising, and honing personal strengths (only cycling, and playing Ultimate Frisbee are a bit rusty at the moment)
    10. Reading - my passion, just finished Ayn Rand's 'Fountainhead' in English (not my mother tongue in about four weeks - not to mention I was reading other books along)
    11. The day starts with an English tea, and then it is water water water & fruit tea
    12. An espresso (one, two) is a must a day
    13. 'If you don't want ideas, don't ask me!'
    14. My Palm Treo 650 (2005 while at BMW) is my 'electronic mind' around the clock
    15. Life is a hack of #LeanThinking, daily, hourly, every second :-)

Thanks for this great inspiring lesson I learned via Twitter!!!

  • 1. 15 Productivity Hacks!
  • 2. Keep A Journal 1 Journals provide clarity of mind, develop your writing skills, and help you set goals. “Please read my diary, look through my things and figure me out.” -Kurt Cobain
  • 3. Set Short And Long Term Goals 2 If you do not define your yearly, monthly, and weekly goals…how will you know if you’ve achieved them? Do not rely on memory. “If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.” -Albert Einstein
  • 4. Sleep & Wake-Up Early 3 Save the “midnight oil”, and wake up fresh and early in the morning instead -it will pay off in every way. “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.” -Benjamin Franklin
  • 5. Meditate 4 Breath properly, have the right posture, live in the present, and let go of insignificant worries hurting your creativity and productivity. "It is a man's own mind, not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways. " -Buddha.
  • 6. Morning Walk 5 An early morning stroll will clear your head, stimulate your senses, direct your focus, and even keep you fit. “All truly great thoughts are conceived while walking” -Friedrich Nietzsche
  • 7. Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone 6 If you are not expanding your mind, then you are dying. Challenge your brain and body: electrify your neurons! “Man's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions.” -Oliver Wendell Holmes
  • 8. Avoid Mass Media 7 Mass media appeals to the masses precisely because it requires little mental energy –avoid it like the plague! “...We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of.” – Edward Bernays
  • 9. Be A Contrarian 8 Avoid sheep-behavior. Think for yourself. Don’t let others decide or define reality for you. Make your own connections! “The truth is not for all men but only for those who seek it.” -Ayn Rand
  • 10. Exercise 9 Exercise provides you with the extra stamina and energy required by your productive brain. Added bonus: Meeting new people! “I think that making love is the best form of exercise” – Cary Grant
  • 11. Read 10 Learning through reading is probably one of the best ways to feed your imagination and make you more productive –you can even read how to be productive! “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” ― Dr. Seuss
  • 12. Drink Water 11 The average adult human body is 65% water, meaning it is essential to our proper functioning. The benefits to your productivity and health are many - productivity is just one of them! “Water is the driving force in nature.” -Leonardo da Vinci
  • 13. Drink Caffeine 12 It will increase your alertness, wake up your senses, improve your productivity, creativity and even short- term memory! “Were it not for coffee one could not write, which is to say one could not live.” – Honoré de Balzac
  • 14. Brainstorm! 13 The benefits of brainstorming can be fantastic. Embrace sufficient different ideas and the right one is sure to come very soon! “It is easier to tone down a wild idea than to think up a new one.”- Alex Osborn
  • 15. Calendar & Scheduling 14 Keep a calendar to schedule meetings, goals, projects, and even you email and social networks to reduce wasted time. “Yesterday is but a dream, Tomorrow is only a vision. But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope.” – Sanskrit
  • 16. Be Productive Outside the Office 15 Assuming you do love your job, then why waste the weekends? Use them to catch-up on reports, tutorials, and other material related to your field. “Never put off for tomorrow, what you can do today.” -Thomas Jefferson
