  • Good Morning, thank you Tony. YES, We have a fantastic exploration opportunity in the Yukon. The Yukon Geological Survey has suggested that there may be opportunities farther afield in the Yukon. I can confirm that this is TRUE!
  • Why explore in the Yukon?
  • It’s simple, the Yukon is very under explored as compared to other mining friendly jurisdictions in Canada.
  • There have been some great discoveries in the Yukon as of late,
  • And ore developments over the years,
  • but with all that, there is still vast untapped potential all through the Yukon.....
  • I have done a lot of research on the Yukon, I’ve seen some great opportunities. But THIS (2 sec pause) I’ve never seen anything as big as this.
  •   The Carmacks is a mature, but we’re only scratching the surface.....literally.
  • And it’s a district that is potentially FULL of surprises.....
  • Research on the Carmacks area has shown...
  • There was a huge magmatic event that occurred at Carmacks..... A hydrothermal event similar to Yellowstone
  • That Hydrothermal activity was responsible for the development of epithermal gold and base metal-rich veins…… all of which was driven by the Carmacks Magmatic Event
  • But the magmatic event is still unexplained..... Here’s a quote from Bennet, Colpron and Burke....”Our understanding of the overprinting magmatic event is limited” ......and the source of the gold bearing fluids remain enigmatic.
  • The source was a mantle plume....just like picture...
  • Stephen Johnston.....is quoted here as saying that gold mineralization at Carmacks is related to hot spot (mantle plume) activity........... This is our model.
  • This is geophysical data from the lithoprobe transect across Yukon...it shows a mantle plume under the SW part of the territory..... and under our target area.

  • Is there a collapsed caldera at Carmacks…..Yes there is….
  • This is where Caldera is located; on the SE end of the Carmacks district.
  • The Caldera has the densest group of 99% gold anomalies in the Yukon….right over top of it.
  • Aurora geosciences did a PCA analysis over the territory and they found that the Caldera has the strongest PCA anomaly in all of the Yukon.

  • The caldera has been distorted by a tectonic event…..THE SW WALL WAS SHIFTER DOWN…
  • Here’s the reconstructed image of the caldera with everything shifted back…... The eastern end of the caldera is truncated by a large fault.
  • Here is the outline of the Caldera as it is today. The Klondike highway, from Whitehorse to Dawson, runs along the fault as it passes through the caldera. The Caldera is roughly 60 miles north of Whitehorse. There is a major hydroelectric power station located along the southwest boundary of the Caldera.
  • During the last glaciation that affected this area, the glaciers were stopped by the presence of this caldera. Proof of that is in this glacial limits map.
  • During the 1990’s an airborne survey was flown over the north west part of the caldera. Data from that survey shows the edge of the caldera.
  • The gravity signature matches what you would expect to find under a large volcanic edifice like this….. The blue color reflects an intrusive body of which you would expect to find under a caldera.
  • The magnetic signature over the caldera shows numerous north-west trending structures. The Yukon Geological Survey has determined that such structures are first order hosts for all gold deposits found within the Dawson Range belt. This is significant....
  • The Landsat image also shows northwest trending structures. When the magnetic image is overlaid on the Landsat image, it shows that the structures are real because they align.
  • The Geology is consistent with the existence of a Caldera. REE are often associated with certain kinds of Caldera geology....
  • This is the Anomalous gold sediments stream map. There is also an anomalus manganese signature over the same area. Here are the anomalus rock geochemistry locations identified with the geological survey of canada in 1977.
  • The late Cretaceous age dates in the caldera are consistent with other formational ages of gold deposits found in the Yukon.
  • Theses are mineral occurrences over the Caldera. The most prominent so far being the Mt Nansen mine; Which is one of the richest gold silver deposits found in the Yukon.
  • The New Shoshoni property in the southern part of the Caldera was described by Late Yukon geologist Jim Dodge as a collapsed Caldera complex…… which confirms the work we have done.
