Introduce yourselfThank Web Congress and Everyone who made this possibleSo I had mentioned something to Ouali about doing something interactive with underwears and when I go online to check what time I was presenting, I notice that the title is “Imagining you in underwears can help”

-- About 1 minute will be used to describe the oculus and its history---What I am currently using a device called the Oculus Rift---It is a head mounted device that produces a 3d image for your eyes. ---The difference between this device and those that you see at your local theater are that----It produces a three dimensional environment that can be viewed from 360 degrees----There is a chip that tracks your head movements to control what you are looking at---This device was created by Palmer Luckey in 2012 and a kickstarter campaign was raised.---They raised around $2.4 million dollars off of kickstarter alone---And the kicker? This development kit only cost $300 dollars. A low enough price for consumers to adopt.
But what exactly is virtual reality? I’ve struggled with this question because how do we communicate to people when the tools we are currently using, just aren’t enough
I could vocally describe to you what virtual reality is-- Virtual Reality enables us to simulate the real world or an imaginary world. To be in places only ever dreamed up.
I could show you a Wikipedia article on what virtual reality it
Or maybe a picture of the inside of the device
How about a video of a 90 year old grandma?
Or a wife riding down a roller coaster
Maybe if I could spark your curiosity you can under
Imagine being able to Virtually tour a location, say Paris, before making a purchasing decision on whether to go on vacation there.
Imagine if football fans were able to virtually experience a football game with their friends even though they all live many thousands of miles away.
Imagine what education could be like if instead of being told how history happened, we could go back in time and actually experience the moment. To really understand how everyone felt.
Urge you not to sleep on this technology
Because, imagine, imagine the types of companies, the types of problems we could solve if everything we imagined, we could create

Virtual reality (VR) is a computersimulated environment that can simulate
physical presence in places in the real
world or imagined worlds. Most current
virtual reality environments are primarily
visual experiences, displayed either on a
computer screen or through special
stereoscopic displays, but some
simulations include additional sensory
information, such as sound through
speakers or headphones. -Wikipedia
