3. INTRODUCTION
INTACH was founded in 27 January 1984 in New Delhi, Headquartered 71,
Lodhi Estate, New Delhi-03.
Since 1984 INTACH has poineered the conservation and protection of India’s
natural and Cultural Heritage.
Today it has its Chapters in 170 Indian Cities, as well as Chapters in Belgium and
the UK.
The Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations of INTACH
constituted the first Governing Council of the Trust.
In 2007 INTACH signed a Memorandum of Understanding with
AUSHERITAGE.
