  8. 8. “ Expenses” / Payments for Mentors <ul><li>Intention is it should be simple easy and clear! </li></ul><ul><li>Fixed payment of £100 per month </li></ul><ul><li>No additional claims / payments unless agreed by Steve Martin or Alison Bond </li></ul><ul><li>Invoices once a quarter for the previous quarter only, WBS to advise timings </li></ul><ul><li>Maximum claim per quarter £300 </li></ul><ul><li>No checks, proof of mentoring/ costs incurred </li></ul><ul><li>Expectation you will have undertaken your ‘obligations’ </li></ul>

Mentoring Approach - Discussion <ul><li>It’s a challenging approach, expecting the mentees to find their own answers but offering support when it is needed </li></ul><ul><li>How much do we guide and signpost rather than question? </li></ul><ul><li>What happens if you feel exposed or outside of your comfort zone? Support network for the mentors? </li></ul><ul><li>How can we ensure the mentees get all the support and challenge they need? </li></ul><ul><li>Communications between: WBS, steering group, mentors, mentees? </li></ul><ul><li>What happens in the event of a problem in the mentoring relationship? </li></ul>
