in the elevators to be the connection in the style
between the nine floors in a contemporary design
with wooden elements the idea was developed to

The PVC parquet texture flooring allows for ante

Management Department for industrial
land provision and licensing. The Investor
Management Department has transformed the
once time consuming procedure into a one-step
process that can be completed through a singular

Management Department, an investor can initiate
the licensing process simply by filling out an
application at any ZonesCorp counter or online.

Commerce and Industry new headquarters, Sunday,
05/15/2011. The formal ceremony held on this

located in Al Nakheel Business Square within
the vicinity of Ras Al Khaimah Exhibition Centre,

The Centre falls under the jurisdiction of the
General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) which is
the sole authority for the control and regulation of
civil aviation in the UAE and responsible for the
provision of en-route air navigation services and
all aspects of flight safety.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, H.E. Eng.
Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori the Minister of
Economy and Chairman of the General Civil
Aviation Authority, said:

designed and built using the world’s latest cutting-edge

and operational headroom CNS need to accommodate a
substantial increase in air traffic volume over the next 20
years when CNS anticipate handling safely in excess of
two million annual movements.”

Al Suwaidi continued, “The Sheikh Zayed Centre
is also a significant demonstration to our various
stakeholders of our commitment to working with
them and our contribution to the aviation industry
within the UAE by providing them with the
highest quality of services and facilities available.”
The Centre comprises two main buildings - the main
ATCC and the emergency ATCC -housing 76 working
positions for live aircraft control, military liaison and
emergency cum training roles. This represents a tripling of
the previous facility’s capacity. The Main ATCC building
has a 600m2 air traffic control (ATC) room with sufficient
sector suites equipped with the latest technology to
accommodate traffic growth for the next 20 years or a total
traffic volume exceeding two million annual movements.

• An Air Traffic Management (ATM) display
