  • 3. It starts at Lake Taupo and ends out in to the Tasman sea . It has nine bridges a cross it . It has the Taupo gates , Ohaki bridge, Ohakuri tailrace , Whakamaru tailrace, Waipapa trailrace , narrows bridge , Hamltion city , Horotiu bridge , Huntly bridge , Mercer bridge , Tuakau bridge and Port Waikato.
