How does the SECUSOL system perform on a nice sunny summer day?
T1: 80 °F SECUSOL System Sunction Early Morning Situation T2: 55 °F When the system is not running, no solar liquid is in the collector. The liquid stays in the HX. In case of a power blackout there will be no overheat issue.
SECUSOL System Function Morning Situation T1: 85 °F T2: 55 °F System kicks on when delta T between collector and lower tank is at 30°F. Heat transfer liquid is pumped up to the collector. The air is forced into the upper part of the HX.
SECUSOL System Function Morning Situation T1: 67 °F T2: 57 °F After the filling time the pump goes into the speed controlled mode. That saves electric energy and increases the efficiency. In the oversized heat exchanger is enough space for both, a perfect heat transfer and expansion.
SECUSOL System Function Situation around Noon T1: 203 °F T2: 181 °F When collector temperature rises, pump speed increases to maintain the standard delta T of 40 °F. The system will stop when either the max. tank temperature (182F) or the max. collector temperature (270F) is reached. Or when the delta T drops below 6F.

How does the SECUSOL system perform on a cloudy winter day?
SECUSOL System Function Winter Situation – with Overcast Sky T1: 34°F T2: 55°F When there is no solar yield, the 4.5 kW heating element will provide all the heat needed for shower, dishwasher and washing machine. Just like any other water heater. T3: 155°F

SECUSOL Preheat Appliance Situation with no Solar Yield T1: 23 °F T2: 55F T: 155F When there is no solar yield, the water coming from the street will just pass the SECUSOL tank. It will be heated up as usual by the conven-tional water heater.
SECUSOL Preheat Appliance Situation with Solar Yield (Winter or Summer) T1: 190 °F T2: 150F T3: 160F T: 155F In normal operation, the street water will be pre-heated in the SECUSOL tank. Most of the year the conven-tional water heater does not have to fire. The heat will then be provided just by the sun!
