  • 1. Engage Verbal Questions For more information on training and professional development, please contact us at Engage Verbal Questions in CPS 1. Open up the CPS Software and go to the Engage Tab. 2. Click on the Engage Button on the Toolbar. 3. The Verbal Questions Setup Window will then appear. 4. This will bring up the Verbal Session Toolbar. 1. Give your session a Title. 2. Optional: Choose a session category for the grade book (if you're using it)or leave it set at the default of Class Participation. 3. Choose the correct class. 4. Optional: Click the box to take attendance from this session. 5. Click OK.

Engage Verbal Questions For more information on training and professional development, please contact us at Your options: Verbal: Choose from a drop-down menu of question types to ask questions on the fly and record performance data. Chalkboard: Upload and draw images while delivering on the fly questions. Options: Opens the Delivery Options window to select options like show large screen for Verbal mode. Engage Toolbar Handle: Click and drag on this icon to move the Engage toolbar anywhere on your screen. Class: Randomly select a student from your active class list or take attendance Charting window: View performance data in a chart. Exit CPS: Save your results up to this point and shut down CPS entirely. Close: End the delivery session and return to the main CPS window. 5. To ask a verbal question, choose Verbal from the toolbar, and then choose question type.

Once you choose the question type, the question response toolbar will appear and the students can begin sending their answers. You can take a screen shot of your desktop by clicking the Camera Icon BEFORE ending the question. This will put a screen shot in your reports for your information later. 7. To end the question, click End on the toolbar. You can continue asking questions by clicking on the question types to launch on the Content Deliver Toolbar. 8. To close your verbal session, click close . Then click Close again. When prompted, click Yes to end your session.
