  • 2. INTRODUCTION. Water as a natural resource it is very useful to humans. So we should use it in a proper manner which the water is getting conserved. Deforestation, constructions of building, have also depleted the underground water levels.
  • 3. METHODS TO PREVENTAFFORESTATION IRRIGATION INDUSTRIAL USE RAINWATER DOMESTIC USE HARVESTING
  • 4. AFFORESTATION. The underground water is replenished by planting more trees. It reduces the surface run of water and improves the seepage of water into the soil. This is a useful method to conserve water.
  • 5. IRRIGATION. The most important use of fresh water is irrigation. So we should use it in a wise way in order to avoid the depletion of water.SPRINKLER IRRIGATION Sprinkler irrigation is one of the effective method for irrigation.
  • 6. DRIP IRRIGATION In dry regions where evaporation rate is high drip irrigation is done The water is passed to every roots through pipes.
  • 7. INDUSTRIAL USE Industrial water may be recycled and used for cleaning and cooling machines.
  • 8. DOMESTIC USE Wastage of water in our house should be avoided. We should close the tap properly. We should repair it at time. We should use the waste water from kitchen for gardening. you should close the
  • 9. Rainwater harvesting. It is an important method of conserving water. Rainwater can be collected in the tanks and later it can used for washing, cleaning etc.
