With the election at hand, AmericanChristians ponder this relationship and prayerfully act upon it. This video based discussion examines thisvital relationship to see what’s working well and how we can improve the rough spots at the intersectionof church and state. This event is offered twice: Sunday, October 28 at 10:30 a.m. and Monday,October 29 at 6:30 p.m. We will gather in the Fellowship Hall (church basement).IT’S HERE! – Beginning November 1st, we will serve Holy Communion at every service as requested inour last voters’ meeting. Thank you to everyone who prayerfully considered our requests for help. Thankyou to both new members and experienced members who are working hard to help teach new Altar Guildmembers how to prepare the Lords Supper; we are truly Blessed. Through Holy Communion God givesus the forgiveness of sins, life and salvation through the body and blood of Jesus.“For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he wasbetrayed, took bread and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is foryou; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup isthe new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever youeat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. 1 Cor. 11:23-26IT’S TIME FOR THE FALL CLEANUP AT OSLC – Men and women…boys and girls!
