    • Reaching your goals through volunteering can sometimes be a difficult task.
    • There can be many barriers that prevent or hinder a persons chances of succeeding.
    • There are examples on the next slide of some barriers that can be problematic.

    • Whilst these barriers may be present there are ways that these can be overcome.
      • Stepping stones can help us to engage in volunteering.
    • As you can see from the next slide the man has a number of stepping stones that help him to volunteer.

    • Once a referral form has been received by the project a Step Out! worker will be in contact with you to arrange an appointment.
