The Rand Paul supporter accused of kicking a liberal activist in the head before a Kentucky Senatorial debate is using
his foot for something else-putting it in his mouth.
Tim Profitt said he used his foot to keep MoveOn.org's Lauren Valle down because he couldn't bend over due to a bad
back. Profitt, the now-ex Bourbon County coordinator with the Paul campaign, said he was trying to protect the
candidate, who was nearby.
"I feared for his safety," Profitt told a local CBS affiliate WKYT.
